Melinda is the National and Tactical Systems (NTS) portfolio area director in Raytheon’s Air and Space Defense strategic business unit. NTS is a diverse portfolio with programs serving DoD and Intelligence customers by delivering solutions such as distributed tactical mission management, ground systems, software development, multi-source data sensing and fusion, space-rated avionics and electronics, data processing, and advanced payloads. Through more than 25 years at Raytheon, Melinda has held technical system engineering leadership and program leadership roles covering the entirety of the space portfolio. Melinda holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Carroll College and has completed numerous leadership programs including the Leadership Excellence Program, the Intelligence, Information and Services Accelerator Program, and the Engineering Leadership Development Program. She is also active with employee engagement groups and is a representative on the Raytheon DE&I Council.
